Eskom has notified the public of its plans to conduct stage 2 blackouts, which will begin today, Friday 13th, 2022, from 5 pm to 10 pm.
“Due to ongoing power system restrictions, Stage 2 load-shedding will be applied from 17:00 to 22:00 tonight.”
They said that the unfortunate situation was caused by persistent power grid difficulties.
This week, different power plants had units undergoing maintenance.
However, returning to service has been difficult.
