The Supreme Court on Tuesday formally rejected a request to block the federal mask mandate for air travel, Breitbart News reported.

The emergency application was filed by Michael Seklecki, a father of an autistic child. It reportedly asserted that he and his child are not able to adhere to the federal mask mandate.

Requests in the writings were addressed to Justice Neil Gorsuch. The motion was shot down by the justices with no further comment.

“The application for stay addressed to Justice Gorsuch and referred to the Court is denied,” the order list read.

The referenced Breitbart article pointed out that this denial by the Supreme Court is not necessarily a reflection of the legality of any of the current Covid-19 related mandates. Any non-lawyer can technically file lawsuit papers against anybody, and this is likely the case for the aforementioned court request.

This decision by the court follows one year and counting of the Biden administration continually forcing Americans to wear face masks when traveling within planes or airlines. There is currently no end in sight to the ruling, with the Biden administration announcing the further continuation of forced masking this past December.

“And we are extending the requirement, both internationally and domestically, to wear masks for travel on aircraft, train, public transportation, through the winter months,” Biden said during a speech at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Joe Biden’s extension of this forced masking protocol marks just one of many broken promises by his administration since taking the White House. The White House occupant previously promised to force masks for “just” 100 days prior to taking office.

“Wear your mask for just 100 days. It’s the easiest thing you can do to reduce COIVD cases, hospitalizations, and death,” Biden said at the time.

“Whatever your politics or point of view — mask up for 100 days. Once we take office. 100 days to make a difference. It’s not a political statement, it’s a patriotic act,” he added.
