Tatyana Remley was sentenced on December 28, 2023 to three years and eight months to a California prison for her murder-for-hire and weapons charges, but was released after a year

Tatyana Remley had it all. The horses. The mansions. The money. She was a glamorous model and a dazzling socialite with ambitious plans.

With her entrepreneur husband, Mark, the mother-of-two lived a luxurious lifestyle, spending around $50,000 a month to maintain homes in Hawaii and California.

But the couple’s seemingly picture-perfect world in San Diego began to crumble in 2012 when their multimillion-dollar equestrian acrobatics show, Valitar, abruptly shut down after just five performances at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Ten years went by, and their relationship continued to unravel. In July 2023, the couple’s $6 million Del Mar mansion was destroyed in a fire.

A few months later, Remley offered two men $2 million to kill her husband. She thought they were assassins, but they were actually undercover detectives.

She was sentenced in 2024 to three years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to solicitation of murder and carrying a loaded, concealed firearm.

After years of posing in swimsuits and lingerie, the former model looked unrecognizable when she posed for her disheveled mugshot.

But now the 44-year-old Remley is back – and she wants her husband back, too. The Daily Mail can reveal that she was released early from prison in January after serving only a year behind bars.

Tatyana and Mark Remley’s tumultuous love story began 15 years ago. She was convicted in 2024 of trying to hire undercover agents posing as hitmen to kill him for $2 million

Now a free woman, Remley has been spotted on yachts, dining on caviar and filming a Netflix docuseries about her double life.

Once the toast of San Diego, she has also launched an OnlyFans page and claims to be writing a tell-all book.

The ex-socialite is attempting to reconcile with the husband once targeted in her murder-for-hire plot and now faces fresh arson charges for allegedly trying to burn down the mansion that the couple once shared.

Already on probation for the earlier conviction, Remley remains free pending trial in the arson case and is due back in court in March.

Another legal battle looms in the form of a contentious divorce filed before her imprisonment.

In a bizarre twist, the disgraced equestrian insists that she still loves her husband of 15 years despite once plotting his death.

The estranged couple are representing themselves without lawyers, which allowed Mark to directly question her during an August video deposition.

In the footage viewed by the Daily Mail, he confronted Remley about the failed hit.

‘You described how you wanted me murdered, true or false?’ Mark asked.

‘Yeah, I think I said cut your head off,’ she replied quickly.

‘Did you want my body found so you could collect on my estate quicker, true or false?’ he pressed.

‘I have never been after your money, Mark,’ she said. ‘Nor would I ever want you killed. As long as I draw breath, I love you.’

‘You want us to reconcile, is that true?’ Mark asked.

‘Yes,’ she answered.

Mark, who made millions through real estate investments and formerly served as executive vice president and chief information officer of Signal Corporation, was worth around $30 million when they married in March 2011, according to court documents.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the 59-year-old said he had bankrolled their extravagant world of fast cars and horses.

They even appeared in the 2017 Showtime docuseries ‘Naked SNCTM’, where they mingled with other swingers.

The Remleys first gained notoriety after Valitar collapsed in 2012, leaving performers and crew members unpaid.

At one point, Mark invested more than half a million dollars to form a polo team that would showcase Remley as a star player.

‘I bought her a polo team but, within minutes, she fell off the horse and never competed again,’ he told the Daily Mail.

‘I sold the team and all the horses after that. That half a million dollars lasted about seven minutes.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Remley for comment.

The mother of two from Bend, Oregon, had only a fourth-grade education and a string of failed engagements with wealthy men, according to court records obtained by the Daily Mail.

She divorced biotech tycoon Kenneth Woolcott in 2004 after just 11 months of marriage and fought for custody of one of her children, which she lost.

Despite her turbulent past, Mark told the Daily Mail that he fell hard for her.

‘You know, it was my third marriage and obviously she was gorgeous and exciting,’ he said. ‘I was coming off a failed marriage. I was jaded. I wanted to have some fun, and here comes this gorgeous woman. Maybe it was also just the great sex.’

Over the years, Mark said the relationship faded. While she continued to drink, party and socialize, he wanted to slow down.

‘I just didn’t want to do these crazy sex parties any more and she got bored,’ he said. ‘I encouraged her to find purpose, get a job, go back to school, do something. But she wouldn’t lift a finger.’

Remley painted a different picture in court filings, claiming her life was in constant danger.

She alleged that on May 21, 2023, Mark broke into her bedroom, held her at gunpoint and allowed a friend to rape her.

‘They broke my horse statue in the yard and put the head in my bed, Godfather-style,’ she wrote.

In the August deposition, a frustrated Mark asked her to retract the claims that he was violent and had forced her into prostitution.

‘To accuse me of forcing you into this lifestyle is slander,’ he said.

Remley shot back: ‘Love, with all due respect, you’re not Sean Combs. What are you worried about? No one cares. It’s kinda hot, Mark. What we did, it’s hot as f–k. Own it.’

Mark said the beginning of the end came with the house fire in July 2023, which he believes that she started.

The Daily Mail viewed footage showing rooms gutted to ash and melted glass.

‘I just snapped and said, ‘I’m out’,’ he said. ‘She burned the house down, and then I find out about the murder-for-hire. It all came one after another.’

After learning about the alleged plot, Mark went to the authorities.

She was arrested on August 2, 2023, and charged with solicitation of murder, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and possessing a loaded firearm in public.

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department orchestrated the sting using an undercover sheriff’s detective posing as a hitman who met her at a Starbucks.

Remley still denies plotting to kill her husband and says the gun was not intended for him.

‘It was to kill myself,’ she told Mark. ‘Not literally. I mean, I’d pull the gun out and the cops would shoot me.’

Remley also insists that she did not set the Del Mar fire, though the mansion was sold at a $4 million loss due to the damage.

Mark told the Daily Mail that his ex asked him to bail her out after she was arrested on arson charges.

If convicted, Remley could face up to nine years and eight months in prison, including time for a parole violation, according to her plea agreement obtained by the Daily Mail.

Still, she appears unfazed. In an October Instagram video, the OnlyFans model, wearing sunglasses and sitting on a yacht, shared: ‘Dreams do come true, you just have to believe in them. Most people don’t. You want a big a** house? You’ll get it. You want true love? Go get it. Believe in yourself.’

Mark said that he was ready to move on. He has left San Diego and now lives out of state with family.

‘My $6 million home was torched and my wife put a $2 million hit on me,’ he said. ‘But I’m still here.’
