TOMS RIVER — With rainy, windy weather expected this weekend, Toms River has canceled Saturday’s Food Fest.
Food Fest, which annually draws thousands to downtown Toms River for food, music and , was canceled the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was slated to return from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, but township spokesman Art Gallagher said the poor weather forecast has led to the event’s cancelation.
Poor weather is also predicted for Sunday, May 8.

“The return of the Toms River Food Fest will have to wait another year,” Gallagher said.
