President Donald Trump has reportedly made good on his promise to handle the crime mess in California caused by the failed leadership of Democrats, and Gov. Gavin Newsom is already in meltdown mode.
Trump has been hinting for weeks that San Francisco was the next city on his checklist to clean up as part of his nationwide crackdown on crime. And it appears that that is exactly what is happening, with the confirmation by News Nation about the Trump administration sending 100 federal agents to the city.

The outlet noted that according to DHS sources, “around 100 federal agents and officers from multiple agencies, including ICE and Customs and Border Protection, will be in the San Francisco area as early as Thursday.”
As to why, the reporter explained that “San Francisco ranks 26th in the nation for violent crime, but it’s 13th in the nation when it comes to property crime, and it’s also above Chicago when it comes to major crime in the United States.”
KRON4 News received a statement from the U.S. Coast Guard about the agency’s part.
“The U.S. Coast Guard is providing facility support to Customs & Border Protection as requested, in a supporting role. The Coast Guard is focused on ensuring safe and secure operations in support of federal partners. All questions about the operation should be directed to CBP, the lead agency.”
“At this time, I have not received any report of ICE agents being sent to Base Alameda,” a Coast Guard spokesperson added, following reports that the agents have been “dispatched to Coast Guard Island in Alameda” in the Bay Area.
And as we have come to expect from these blue cities, the official statement from Alameda made it clear it would not be helping with any federal enforcement of immigration laws.
The Alameda Police Department (APD) is not a part of this operation, and APD does not enforce federal immigration laws or related civil warrants.

Following reports of the agents heading to SF, Newsom held a presser, slamming the move, saying he will sue.

“We’re going to be fierce in terms of our response,” Newsom said. “And quite literally this is the lawsuit that I will file within a nanosecond of any efforts to send the military to one of America’s great cities, San Francisco.”
“That has enjoined sixty percent reduction in homicide or rather homicide reduction – is the lowest it’s been in sixty years,” he added, claiming with a straight face that it was one of the “safest large cities” in the country with an “economic rebirth and growth.” A place that’s lost business and residents because of the insane cost of living, crime, and homelessness, etc.
During a recent interview, Trump told Fox News that San Francisco was next.

“We’re going to go to San Francisco next,” Trump said. “The difference is, I think they want us in San Francisco. San Francisco was truly one of the great cities of the world. And then, 15 years ago, it went wrong. It went woke.”
“We’re going to go to San Francisco and we’re going to make it great,” he added. “It will be great again.”
The irony of it all is that Trump would be cleaning up Newsom’s mess and helping liberals in the city that wouldn’t ever have dreamed of voting for Trump to be POTUS.
