Secret Service agents were heard shouting ‘The shooter is down’ moments after shots were fired at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania Saturday.
Both male and female voices could be heard repeating the phrase moments after shots rang out and Trump ducked down with blood coming from his ear.
Team Trump says the former president is ‘fine.’ Officials have yet to confirm if the shooter was injured, killed or arrested and their identity has not been released.
The Trump campaign is also yet to say whether the president was shot or grazed during the shooting. A spokesperson said further detail would follow soon.
A medical helicopter was seen taking off from the rally site 19 minutes after the shooting and is believed to be headed for a hospital in nearby Pittsburgh, The New York Times reported.
