Two people died after an unidentified man stabbed them Monday morning in New York City

Two people died after a Manhattan knifeman went on a horror stabbing spree Monday morning. 

A total of three people were stabbed, in what is said to have been an unprovoked attack, according to the NYPD.

One victim, an unidentified 30-year-old construction worker, was stabbed around 8.20am on W. 19th St. near Tenth Ave. in Chelsea, according to police. 

He was rush to Bellevue Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

An unnamed 67-year-old man was stabbed around 10.27am on E. 30th St. and the FRD Drive in Kips Bay. He died at the hospital. 

A third female victim was stabbed around 10.55am at E. 42nd St. and First Ave. in Murray Hill. 

The unidentified woman was also taken to Bellevue Hospital where she remains in critical condition. 

The knifeman, a 51-year-old Hispanic man, was arrested soon after on East 46th Street and First Avenue. Charges against him are pending.

The suspect is reportedly a resident of the Bellevue Men’s Shelter, according to the New York Post.
