Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has been indicted on a misdemeanor charge after being accused of failing to report a felony almost one year on from an alleged shooting in Texas.
Sneed, a two-time Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs, was indicted by a grand jury in Texas on Tuesday over an incident that allegedly took place in December 2024, ESPN claims.
The 28-year-old is accused of observing a felony which could have resulted in serious bodily harm or death and knowingly failing to report it to law enforcement.
Back in April, it was revealed that a Texas man who claimed Sneed or his personal assistant shot at him on a dealer lot was suing him for at least $1million.
Christian Nshimiyimana was sitting inside a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon on December 6 in Carrollton, Texas when bullets were allegedly fired from a Lamborghini Urus driving past One Legacy Motors.
Neither Nshimiyimana nor anyone else was struck and many precise details are redacted in the police report.

He accused Sneed and a defendant listed as John Doe of ‘an unprovoked attack in cold blood and broad daylight.’ The Carrollton Police Department arrested the NFL star and his alleged accomplice for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after the shooting.
Attorney Levi McCathern also accused Sneed and a woman – who identified herself as his mother – of calling and threatening Nshimiyimana afterward, wanting him not to cooperate with police or retain an attorney.
Daily Mail has approached the Tennessee Titans for comment.
Nshimiyimana filed the civil lawsuit February 20 in Dallas County, Texas. The 23-year-old owns an exotic car rental business and was researching vehicles for his company.
The lawsuit included a still photo from surveillance video showing an arm reaching out of a sport-utility vehicle on the street with what the lawsuit describes as a pistol circled in red.
According to the suit, Nshimiyimana remembers seeing Sneed and his assistant at the car dealership but didn’t recognize him from his NFL career or television.
Nshimiyimana also does not recall ever meeting him before that day. The suit notes the defendants may have mistaken Nshimiyimana for someone else.
Sneed, who was drafted from Louisiana Tech in the fourth round in 2020 by Kansas City before winning Super Bowls in 2022 and 2023, was traded to the Titans in early 2024.
He played the first five games of the 2024 season for Tennessee before a quadriceps injury eventually landed him on injured reserve and has made seven appearances this year, registering 26 tackles.
