Upload is an American science fiction comedy-drama television series created by Greg Daniels. The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 1, 2020, and was renewed for a second season seven days later. The second season premiered on March 11, 2022.

In 2033, humans are able to “upload” themselves to the virtual life of their choice. When computer programmer Nathan dies prematurely, he is uploaded to the very expensive Lake View, but then he finds himself under the thumb of his estranged, still-living girlfriend, Ingrid.

As Nathan adjusts to the pros and cons of Digital Heaven, he bonds with Nora, his live customer service representative. Nora grapples with the pressures of her job, her dying father who doesn’t want to be uploaded,
And her growing feelings for Nathan slowly lead to the belief that Nathan has been murdered. Each one uploaded to Lakeview is assigned its own customer service “Angel,” a representative who works for Horizon, the company that makes Lakeview.
Nathan’s fixed angel is Nora Antony, a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense woman who easily hooks up with him. It is clear from the start that there is an inherent attraction between Nathan and Nora, but Nora has to ignore his feelings because acting on them can put her off.
Upload Season 2 Review: Does it stands the expectations?
Two years later, Upload is back for Season 2. Life outside is equally uncertain. Our world has changed a lot, but uploads have changed little. Upload maintains its core programming as an engaging star-crossed love story in its sophomore year.
But with its emphasis on a murder mystery and moving into a class war story, things feel unsatisfying. New episodes begin almost immediately after the Season 1 finale, as programmer Nathan deals with his rich, obsessive girlfriend’s decision to upload a video.
His heaven so that they can be together forever, literally. Meanwhile, his former love Nora goes into hiding with the anti-tech “Luds”, who are investigating the plot that led to Nathan’s murder.
Their relationship, while always difficult, is more precarious than ever given that one of them is alive while the other is not. As Season 2 begins, Nathan is trapped in “2 Gig” — the gray-sweatsuit,

Given that, for some reason, uploading involved making your head explode, she now thinks she owes Ingrid an inexplicable debt, on top of the fact that she’s paying her bills, and So can’t figure out his blossoming romance with Nora.
But once he’s back in his all-expenses-paid version of Heaven, his brief experience in 2 gigs makes Nathan even more determined to break down financial barriers for later use in life.
The wonderfully funny and nuanced supporting turns of this season’s cast make this season stand out. Edwards continues to show off the eye-opening range. From his hilarious and pointless take on where the joke is on his Ingrid,

To the subtle heartwarming moments when he learns that Nathan has eyes for Nora. Brigley’s Luke often has the funniest lines on the show. You’ll see him single-handedly putting Nathan’s ego on a pedestal, while aggressively confronting him about his negative self-talk.
Meanwhile, Nathan has to contend with Ingrid uploading himself to Lake View so they can both be “real”. Family, whatever it means in the digital afterlife. There are many fun little jokes surrounding Ingrid’s character,
Such as her hankering for a digital child, created by a kind of mind-match between Nathan and her. Or when a Lake View resident learns that Horizon is monetizing people’s dreams—and decides to go on a sleep strike to protest.
