Victoria Beckham has admitted it must have been ‘so tough’ for Liam and Noel Gallagher’s mother during their decades-long feud in a hint towards her own feelings about issues with her son Brooklyn.

The fashion designer, 51, and her husband David, 50, have been locked in a row with their son, 26, and his heiress wife Nicola Peltz, 30, amid claims he has become increasingly estranged from the family after failing to attend any of his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.

Now, Victoria has seemingly used another famous family feud to hint at her true feelings on the fallout with their eldest child.

Speaking about Oasis’s long-awaited reunion following years of public feuding between Liam and Noel Gallagher, Victoria spared a thought for their mum Peggy.

‘I just think their mum must be so happy, it must have been really tough on the mum, the boys not talking for all those years, she told The Sunday Times. ‘And I just think as a mum, that must be … she must feel so happy to see her boys getting on.’

Elsewhere in the chat, Victoria discussed family but made no mention of Brooklyn – with the publication revealing the writer was instructed not to ask any questions about the rumoured feud with her son.

Mentioning the bond she has with her kids, Victoria said she is ‘really close to the kids, Harper’s still 14, so she’s living at home – so is Cruz, who is 20 – I see both of them every day.

‘Romeo doesn’t live at home, so I see a little less of him’, however she made no mention of Brooklyn while discussing her relationship with her children.

The interview was published just after Victoria’s triumphant Paris Fashion Week show, which Brooklyn was absent from.

But while he skipped the show for the second time this year, she received the full support of the rest of her family.

She was seen pulling her proud husband David in for a passionate kiss following her show on Friday.

The singer and designer cracked a smile as she wrapped up her catwalk show in the French capital.

Victoria, who typically holds a stern look whilst in public, broke from her usual tradition as she beamed while being supported by her family.

Her youngest child and only daughter Harper, 14, could be seen taking videos during the show and applauding her mother’s work along with her star-studded guests.

Romeo and Cruz were also in attendance, with Cruz bringing along his girlfriend Jackie Apostol.

Brooklyn has not been pictured with his family since December last year, with sources previously telling how he is ‘no longer on speaking terms’ with his parents and siblings.

In August, the Beckhams were snubbed by Brooklyn and his wife Nicola after they said ‘I do’ for a second time at Westchester County in front of her family, with his clan notably absent, having not been informed of the event.

Further heartache has came in the form of a leak of Brooklyn’s speech, in which he reportedly opened up on his love for the Peltz family, as well as speaking ‘movingly’ of his wife in front of the 200 guests.

Brooklyn also failed to wish his younger brother Romeo a Happy Birthday last month and was absent from his 23rd party in London.

At the end of last month, Victoria reportedly declared ‘enough is enough’ amid her bitter feud with son Brooklyn, after months of heartache.

As she prepares for the release of her Netflix documentary, Victoria is said to have drawn a line in the sand and can no longer ‘keep fighting the same fight’.

According to a source, the fashion designer found filming her new show ‘liberating’ and it made her realise not only how much she was loved, but also convinced her that she and Brooklyn would eventually reunite.

Following reports that her eldest son would be featuring in the show – Victoria appeared to extend an olive branch to her son with the inclusion of a blink and you’ll miss it flashback snap of him as a baby in the series’ first trailer.

‘It was very much a roller coaster of emotions because of the big thing that’s still affecting her, her fractured relationship with Brooklyn.

‘But it also made her realise that she can’t keep raking over the heartbreak of this situation with him, enough is enough, now,’ a source said.

They went on to tell The Mirror: ‘She knows he will, one day, come back to her, but it’s just not the right time, that’s how she’s looking at it now, this project has made her realise how blessed she is to have her family around her and supporting her.

‘She found it very emotional but liberating at the same time,’ the source tells us.

‘It made her realise how much she is loved, how her family have supported her and got her through the ups and downs.

‘She still hopes she and Brooklyn will sort things out, of course she does, but at the same time, she can’t keep fighting the same fight’.

The Daily Mail contacted Victoria’s representatives for comment at the time.
