Violet Evergarden: About the Series
Violet Evergarden is a Japanese light novel series. Also, Kana Akatsuki has written this series, and it is illustrated by Akiko Takase. The series won various awards as well. The fifth Kyoto Animation Award, the series won the grand prize in the novels category in the year 2014.
It became the first-ever work to win the grand prize at such a big event in three categories that is novel, scenario, and manga. In the year 2015, on December 25th Kyoto Animation published the first light novel series under KA Esuma Bunko Imprint.
In the year 2018, Kyoto Animation adapted the series as anime series and it was aired on television with 13-episodes from January to April. Some screenings of the Anime series also took place in the year 2017. In the year 2019, at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the series was awarded the Best Animated Series.
In July 2018, the original animated video was released, and the spin-off was released in 2019. The Anime film, Violet Evergarden: The Movie was released in 2020 on 18th September. The series is licensed by Netflix, Funimation, Madman Entertainment, and Anime Limited. The show was aired from January 11, 2018, to April 5, 2018.
The Plot of the Series
The show revolves around Violet Evergarden, who is the new employee at the CH Postal Company. And she is working as the Auto Memory Doll at the company. That means she is working as a ghostwriter for people who cannot write, but really want to express their emotions on paper. Dr. Orland is the one who employs people to help and assist his wife Mollie, she also has the same problem.
And she wants to write a novel. And here the journey of Violet starts, she is coming back to life after the war and now is in search of the purpose in life. She was a soldier but no she is not a soldier. And in order to understand the last word of his mentor Major Gilbert “I love you”, she took a path of Auto Memory Doll.

Violet Evergarden Season 2
As we all the Violet Evergarden is a mesmerizing and beautiful series that shows us that how maturely a girl lives her life and is ready to find a purpose in her living. Violet Evergarden Season 2 might be coming and it will highlight Violet’s journey. Season 2 will be more beautiful as it will teach us about human emotions.
As the show ended it was announced that the show will be released by September 2020, but due to the Pandemic, the release was delayed. And till now, the new date has not been announced. But we can assume that the series and movie will be released by the end of 2021 or 2022. The manga series was released in March 2021.
