Another anime series to add to your watchlist is Vampire in the Garden, and it’s coming to Netflix on May 16!

Vampire in the Garden comes from the animation team Wit Studio and is directed by Ryoutarou Makihara. You might know Wit Studio as the animation team behind popular anime Attack on Titan, Great PretenderBubble and many others.

The full voice cast list has not been released, but we know who voices the two main leads. Yû Kobayashi plays Fine, the vampire queen, and Megumi Han plays Momo, the aspiring violin player. You might be familiar with Kobayashi because she voiced Sasha in Attack on Titan, and you probably know Han from her voice work on Hunter x Hunter.

Vampire in the Garden will surely be one of the best anime of 2022! If you’re curious about what this upcoming anime series is all about, we’ve got you covered!

Vampire in the Garden synopsis

The story is set many years after a war disrupted the friendly relations between humans and vampires. We meet a young girl named Momo who lives a boring life and would rather co-exist peacefully with vampires instead of fighting. One day, Momo meets a vampire queen named Fine and the two embark on a journey to find paradise.

The fateful meeting of a human and the vampire queen may change the world. From WIT STUDIO and a team of talented creators comes Vampire in the Garden. One cold winter, humanity lost its battle with the vampires, and with it, most of where they called home. A small population of survivors created a wall of light in a small town to protect them and give them a place to live in peace. The protagonist, Momo, lives a repressed life but still wishes to coexist with the enemy, the vampires. Fine, the vampire queen, once loved humans and disappeared from the battlefield. As war rages through the humans’ town, the two have a fateful encounter. Once upon a time, humans and vampires lived in harmony in a place called Paradise. This is the story of a young girl and a vampire on a journey to find Paradise.

The action anime is rated TV-14, meaning it may not be suitable for ages 14 and under. There will be content shown in the anime that some parents may deem inappropriate, like gore and violence. There will also be strong language used by some of the characters. Parents are strongly cautioned.
