Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is uninterested in a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has no desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Georgia captain has been linked with a number of clubs ahead of the transfer window opening in June, notably with Premier League leaders Arsenal.

The 25-year-old joined the European champions last year from Napoli in a deal worth £69million and on a lucrative contract.

Arsenal are looking at an upgrade on their wingers, as well as full-back, and Kvaratskhelia is among the names they have considered but it is regarded as unrealistic while the player and PSG have no plan to move.

Arsenal will also need to sell to bring in the calibre of player they require to improve the squad.

Newcastle’s Tino Livramento and Anthony Gordon are among those being considered while they have also looked at PSG’s 19-year-old midfielder Senny Mayulu who, though injured at the moment, is in talks about a new contract which has still to be resolved.

The Gunners are keen to focus on bolstering their options on the left wing in particular, with two of Arteta’s most frequent picks in the position – Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard – both set to enter the final year of their contracts.

Despite climbing to the top of the Premier League table, Arsenal have at times come under fire for their lack of creativity, with new recruits needed in the summer to strengthen that aspect of the squad.

Kvaratskhelia enjoyed an eye-catching turn against the Gunners’ Premier League rivals Chelsea as the Parisians romped to an 8-2 win on aggregate in their Champions League round-of-16 meetings this month.

Coming off the bench in the first leg, the Georgian star provided an assist for his team-mate Vitinha after just 12 minutes on the pitch to make it 3-2, before adding his own goal for 4-2.

The 25-year-old then snuffed out any flickering hope that the Blues could come back at Stamford Bridge in the second leg, scoring six minutes after kick-off.

Arsenal though have not made any contact on Kvaratskhelia and both the player and PSG are steadfast they won’t listen to offers.
