Arsenal defender Gabriel could be facing two months out injured after picking up a thigh injury in Brazil’s friendly with Senegal.
The towering defender, who has been key to Arsenal’s impressive defensive record so far this season, had to be withdrawn midway through his side 2-0 victory against on Saturday at the Emirates.
He appeared in some discomfort as he trudged towards the dugout flanked by medical staff in concerning scenes for Gunners fans.
Now, there are concerns that he could be absent until January, with his chances of taking part in this weekend’s north London derby all but zero.
