Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is set to decide his future within the next two weeks

Crystal Palace are continuing to sound out Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola as he considers his next move.

Daily Mail Sport revealed earlier this year that Palace were among the 43-year-old’s biggest admirers as they looked to find a suitable replacement for Oliver Glasner. Tottenham have also considered Iraola, who is out of contract in the summer.

However, the Basque tactician had been leaning towards signing a new deal with Bournemouth last month before it became apparent his former club Athletic Bilbao also hold an interest in him replacing Ernesto Valverde at the end of the season.

That is understood to be a huge pull on the heartstrings of Iraola who made over 400 appearances for the club.

He is poised to give an answer over the next fortnight about where he sees his future as the clubs plan ahead.

Palace have also sensed an opportunity to sound out Iraola’s representatives again to see if he would be interested in their project.

Sean Dyche has been proposed as another proven, safe pair of hands should Iraola say no to them but Palace would just like to ensure they fully explore the possibility of bringing him to Selhurst Park before his mind is set.

Bilbao have also sounded out Edin Terzic as an alternative. The former Dortmund and West Ham coach held talks with Tottenham recently prior to them appointing Igor Tudor.
