Fans spot the moment that Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho appeared to pick his nose and eat it on the bench during clash against Manchester City

Fans appeared to spot the moment that Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho picked his nose and ate it while on the bench.

Garnacho started in the Manchester derby before being replaced in the 82nd minute.

Fans were left stunned at Garnacho’s actions, which were caught by the Sky Sports cameras.

United took the lead through Marcus Rashford but ended up losing 3-1 to their rivals, with Phil Foden scoring a brace and Erling Haaland also on target.

Despite the result, many fans were left distracted by the moment involving 19-year-old Garnacho, which occurred in the 81st minute.

Garnacho has enjoyed an impressive season so far that has included him scoring seven times for United.

However, he will want to forget about this incident quickly.

Garnacho can take some comfort form the fact that he isn’t the only football star to have been caught out in this manner.  

Joachim Low appeared to pick his nose while in charge of Germany against England at Euro 2020, having also performed a similar action during a match versus Ukraine at Euro 2016.

Commenting on Garnacho picking his nose, one user wrote: ‘Garnacho caught in 4k just picking his nose and eating it live on sky sports’.

Another added: ‘Swear Garnacho just picked his nose and ate it.

‘What an absolute grot bag!’.

Meanwhile, another joked: ‘garnacho picking his nose was the most dangerous united looked second half’.

Furthermore, another user added: ‘Catching Garnacho munching his boogers on the bench is disgusting work’.

In addition, one user wrote: ‘Garnacho, dude, gross.’

The incident occurred after Garnacho was substituted during the clash at the Etihad Stadium
