Jose Mourinho has posted a cryptic message on social media after reports claimed he has agreed a two-year deal to become Fenerbahce’s new manager.
The Special One is set for a return to management this summer five months on from his sacking at Roma with rumours suggesting he will replace Ismail Kartal in Turkey.
Mourinho, 61, is expected to take on the role after Fenerbahce finished second in the Turkish Super Lig last season for the third consecutive year.
Previous reports had claimed that Mourinho was a target for Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah but he is now poised to accept his first job in Turkey instead.
Ahead of the official announcement, Mourinho issued an apparent career update.

Taking to his Instagram stories, he shared an image of suitcases, a pair of trainers and a wash bag. A raised eyebrow emoji accompanied the photo.
Although the picture may have been a teasing nod to his next challenge, it is more likely that Mourinho dropped a hint toward his upcoming trip to London.
Mourinho will be part of TNT Sports’ coverage of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley tomorrow.
A two-time winner of the competition, Mourinho will provide expert analysis alongside a team also featuring Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves.

Reports have also claimed, however, that Mourinho has requested a special clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for free should a particular job arise.
According to Calcio Mercato, Mourinho is keen to leave for nothing should he be offered the chance to manage the Portuguese national team.
He had turned down the opportunity during his spell in charge of Roma.
Despite his storied managerial career at club level, Mourinho has never previously coached a national side despite several enticing offers being tabled.
