Liam Rosenior has vowed to get to the bottom of how Chelsea's teamsheet was leaked

Liam Rosenior is certain Chelsea will get to the bottom of how his starting line-up for Wednesday’s Champions League collapse versus Paris Saint-Germain was leaked online eight hours before kick-off.

Rosenior’s XI was doing the rounds on social media after being reported by a French journalist, and that included confirming Filip Jorgensen would start in goal over Robert Sanchez in the last-16 first leg.

That goalkeeping decision backfired on Rosenior as Jorgensen erroneously helped PSG take their 3-2 lead after 76 minutes by trying and failing to pass from the back. The Parisians then scored two additional goals to potentially kill the two-legged tie.

‘I wasn’t aware,’ Rosenior said after losing 5-2 to PSG and when informed that his line-up had been circulating since lunchtime.

‘I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of that if that’s the case. These things now, they happen quite a lot.

‘We get information about our opposition. I’m more worried about the end result than the beginning of the game.’

While Chelsea will have to tackle Newcastle in the Premier League this Saturday, PSG will have a weekend off, having been successful in getting their Ligue 1 fixture postponed to boost their recovery before travelling for their Champions League last-16 second leg at Stamford Bridge this Tuesday.

Arguably, the Parisians now hold such a handsome lead over the Blues that scrapping their league match in between was not necessary.

Rosenior revealed after Wednesday’s loss that Jorgensen, 23, had accepted responsibility for his mistakes in the changing room after full-time.

It remains to be seen who will stay in goal for Newcastle, but Rosenior may decide he does not want to kill Jorgensen’s confidence by suddenly dropping him for Sanchez so soon after showing he is his preferred first-choice.
