England’s history-making Lionesses will today celebrate their Euros triumph with the nation during a victory parade in London this afternoon.

Thousands of people will descend on the capital to cheer on Sarina Wiegman and the Women’s Euros winning squad in an open-top bus procession.

The homecoming celebrations come after the Lionesses landed back in the UK on Monday just hours after beating Spain in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in Basel, Switzerland.

The achievement means marked the first time an England football team had won back-to-back major tournaments and one on foreign soil.
