Darts star Luke Littler mocked Liverpool following their shock FA Cup defeat by Plymouth.

Arne Slot’s side were beaten 1-0 by the Championship team at Home Park, with Ryan Hardie scoring the only goal with a penalty in the 53rd minute.

Avid United supporter Littler couldn’t resist the opportunity to revel in Liverpool’s misery.

Littler posted an Instagram story which read: ‘HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.’

That prompted a Liverpool fan to send a message to Littler commenting on United’s position in the Premier League table.

The message read: ‘Sit at 14th.’

While Liverpool have been eliminated, Manchester United are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup following their dramatic 2-1 win at home to Leicester.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid put Leicester in front just before half time, with Joshua Zirkzee equalising for United in the 68th minute.

United defender Harry Maguire scored the winner against his former club in the third minute of stoppage time.

Littler watched the game with fellow United an Angry Ginge on a live stream.

The pair predicted that Maguire would score before the goal went in.

‘To be fair, a Maguire header off this and it’s on,’ said the YouTuber.

‘Everyone [in the live stream chat] is saying Maguire’.

Maguire then subsequently found the net, with the goal standing even though the defender was offside.

Littler, 18, was crowned the winner of the World Darts Championship last month as he defeated Michael van Gerwen.
