Man United keeper Senne Lammens posed outside The Ivy in Manchester with his girlfriend

Man United’s renaissance under Michael Carrick has provided the Old Trafford faithful with plenty of reasons to smile in recent weeks.

Three consecutive victories over rivals Man City, league leaders Arsenal and Fulham have propelled them to fourth in the Premier League and has fans feeling a lot better about their team from the stands.

And for United players Senne Lammens, Manuel Ugarte and Leny Yoro, the recent uptick in form also appears to have put huge grins on their faces.

The Red Devils’ goalkeeper, midfielder and defender, respectively, all of whom have varying roles in Carrick’s new-look team, were spotted looking gleeful with their partners as they all dined out together at The Ivy in Manchester on Sunday night.

Donning a Carhartt jacket with loose blue jeans, Lammens held his girlfriend’s hand as he walked out of the swanky eatery with a big smile.

Ugarte, too, looked carefree as he posed for a picture alongside British influencer Georgia May Heath, with whom he went public about their relationship last July.

French defender Yoro also appeared to be saving some food for later as he carried out a green doggy bag full of leftovers.

The Ivy, located on the city’s Byrom Street, is no stranger to celebrities and the United stars looked like they had been well catered for in the upmarket restaurant.

The trio will be looking to keep those smiles on their faces when they host Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday, hunting another three points which would put pressure on Aston Villa in third-place.

Ugarte will be keen to break into the starting XI for the Red Devils, but faces stiff competition for places in that midfield berth, where Kobbie Mainoo has returned in recent weeks.

Lammens, on the other hand, has his spot between the United sticks locked down.

The Belgian stopper admitted the win over City was ‘one of the best’ moments in his career to date in a recent interview with the official United club channel, and he’ll be chasing more highs on Saturday.

‘I think it has to be one of the best, if not the best games I’ve been part of, just in every facet,’ Lammens admitted.

‘I thought it was really something that (against City), so we hope we can do it like almost every home game, to be honest,’ he added.

Yoro, meanwhile, will be keen to put pressure on Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez, both of whom have started for United at the heart of their defence in the three recent wins.
