PSV Eindhoven have formalised their interest in signing Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri on loan. However, LA Galaxy are also interested.

The 22-year-old Uruguayan joined the Premier League side in October 2020 for £9m, but has struggled to crack the first team at Old Trafford.

In a bid to get more minutes under his belt, Pellistri – who featured for United against Wigan Athletic on Monday – completed two loan moves to Spanish club Alaves.

Now it is felt that the winger might be the next star to leave Man United in the January transfer window, with manager Erik ten Hag willing to let Pellistri go.

Therefore, Dutch side PSV Eindhoven have registered an interest in signing the Uruguayan international and will begin negotiating with the Red Devils.

However, they will have to fend off interest from MLS side, LA Galaxy during the January window.

PSV Eindhoven may be the more appealing option for Pellistri considering they are sitting top of the Eredivisie table.

Meanwhile, LA Galaxy are sitting fifth in the Western Conference table behind Austin FC, Colorado Rapids, FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo..

Jadon Sancho, another one of Man United’s many wide attacking options, looks set to finally leave Old Trafford, with a loan move to Borussia Dortmund imminent.
