Rangers boss Danny Rohl insists the club will continue to make more new signings in their quest to win silverware this season.
The Ibrox club have already secured three new recruits in January, with a loan deal being confirmed for Wolfsburg winger Andreas Skov Olsen prior to Friday night’s Scottish Cup win over Annan.
Skov Olsen was paraded shortly before kick-off alongside Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens, with Rangers going on to book their place in the fifth round with a 5-0 win over the League Two part-timers.
With 40 caps for the Danish national side and proven Champions League pedigree, Skov Olsen arrives as a statement signing, with Rangers having the option to buy him for around £8.5million in the summer.
Insisting that the club will continue to be proactive in the market, Rohl said: ‘I think in general it was a good week for us, we signed three players and then today with Andy the next one.
‘He gives us experience, he gives us a different profile on the right side with the left foot, he can score.

‘All in all I’m very happy, I’m proud of what we do at the moment, but we have to be on front foot, we cannot do less.
‘We have to be more and more, we are hungry, all in all you feel it at the moment, and there is big confidence back.
‘There is a pride back, but for this we have to work hard that we continue like this in the next couple of weeks and on Monday we start in a busy time.
‘It’s difficult to say exactly the numbers, but yeah, I’m still positive that there will come more players.’
Rangers cruised to victory thanks to a hat-trick from Bojan Miovski and two goals from Kieran Dowell and Thelo Aasgaard.
Targeting a league and cup double, Rohl added: ‘I think in general we can play for two titles at the moment, I think that’s what we want.
‘I think it’s a great opportunity, we want to push, I think we are hungry in the changing room at the moment.
‘I think there was a big statement in Aberdeen when I felt the dressing room inside after the win, it was really fantastic.

Thelo Aasgaard was also on the scoresheet with a late goal in the Scottish Cup tie
‘It showed me that there is something growing, there is a connection, there is a belief, there is a trust to each other, it’s really fantastic to see.’
Skov Olsen said: ‘Rangers is the biggest club here in Scotland, with huge history and huge traditions.
‘It’s a very old club so when I finally heard that I have an opportunity to come here, I was never in doubt for a second.
‘I just want to come here and try to help to win trophies with the rest of the team. I’ll do my best and have a great time here.
‘I have a lot of international experience as well with Denmark, in the Champions League with Brugge and winning trophies which is the most important thing. Hopefully it can give me an advantage.’
Having signed Chukwuani, Rommens and Skov Olsen over the past fortnight, Rangers are keen to make further additions before the end of the window.
There is a recognition among the Ibrox hierarchy about the opportunity they have in the title race and, if they were to go all the way, the likelihood of automatic entry into the Champions League that would come with it.
Rangers are ideally still looking for another holding midfielder that would be able to provide cover given that Connor Barron could be out of action for up to three months.

They are also in the market for another wide player, with Motherwell’s Tawanda Maswanhise on their radar, as well as a new striker.
But the their ability to do any further business may hinge on their ability to clear some players off the books and free up some wages.
It was confirmed on Friday night that Lyall Cameron has joined Aberdeen on loan for the rest of the season, but Daily Mail Sport understands there is no option for the Dons to buy him in the summer.
‘I think for Lyall it’s a good opportunity to get minutes, for us it’s helpful as well,’ added Rohl. ‘In this case, we go forward.’
Kieran Dowell, Rabbi Matondo, Nedim Bajrami, Danilo, Joe Rothwell and Clinton Nsiala are all expected to be shipped out before the end of the window if possible.
Meanwhile, Annan player-manager Willie Gibson said of the cup tie: ‘There were a lot of positives, although we come away on a 5-0 defeat. We know it’s sore but we knew the quality we were up against.
‘I was really proud of the way we played. We did create chances. They’re good players, they know how to move the ball that quickly and get into the areas that hurt you. The fifth goal just tops it off, it shows you the quality that’s in the side.’
