Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has taken to Twitter to laugh at former teammate Patrice Evra.
Evra, now 41, was playing in Soccer Aid 2022 as part of the Rest of the World team, and took down running legend Sir Mo Farah inside the penalty box during the first half of the match.
Ferdinand, who played with Evra at United between 2006 and 2014, saw the funny side of things, and headed to Twitter to post a clip of the challenge and laugh at the former French international.

‘Patty,’ Ferdinand posted, accompanied by four laughing faces.
The charity game, which takes place annually and bills a mix of English celebrities and former professional footballers against the same from a ‘Rest of the World’ team, was held at West Ham’s London Stadium on Sunday evening.
The game finished 2-2, with Rest of the World winning on penalties.

Evra was part-responsible for his team’s opening goal, winning a penalty in the first half when he drew a foul from internet star Chunkz in the penalty area.
TikTok sensation Noah Beck fired the spot kick past former England goalkeeper David James to give his side the lead, but that wasn’t the end of Evra’s involvement.
Later in the half, the left back was trying to deal with a ball into the box but didn’t notice quadruple Olympic champion Farah running in behind him at the back post.

In a desperate attempt to clear the a cross, Evra flung his left leg towards the ball but completely missed his attempt.
In a second try, he again went with his left leg, but could only hook Farah to the ground as the 39-year-old closed in on goal.
Farah hit the deck, but referee Mark Clattenburg waved play on.
Farah’s pleads for a VAR check were overruled, with the system not in use during the game.
Lee Mack went on to score the winning spot kick in a penalty shootout, ensuring the Rest of the World side took home the trophy for the fourth year in a row.
Evra has not yet replied to Ferdinand’s post.
