Rodri makes Premier League return after 11 months out injured - as Ederson is dropped AGAIN by Man City boss Pep Guardiola amid interest from a new suitor

Ederson’s name was nowhere to be seen again as Man City’s starting XI for their clash with Brighton was announced on Sunday.

The goalkeeper is yet to feature in the Premier League this season with new signing James Trafford taking his place.

City hold interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma should they find agreement to sell Ederson. 

Galatasaray have already seen a bid a bid of £8.5m rejected while another Turkish club have now entered the race. 

Fenerbahce are plotting a move for the 32-year-old, who is now in his ninth season at the Etihad. 

Donnarumma, 26, has been lined up should Ederson go but PSG will need to drop their £40m asking price.

The Italy international has been cast aside by Luis Enrique after PSG bought Lucas Chevalier – who is considered better with his feet and distribution.
