Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has received attention for his reaction to his side’s late penalty against Burnley.
In midweek Amorim was widely criticised for sitting on the bench and not watching the spot-kicks during United’s shootout defeat against Grimsby in the Carabao Cup.
On this occasion Amorim watched on as Bruno Fernandes scored a stoppage time penalty to give United a much-needed win against the Clarets.
United prevailed with a 3-2 victory in an eventful game having initially taken the lead through an own goal from Josh Cullen.
Lyle Foster then equalised for Burnley before Bryan Mbeumo restored United’s advantage.
Jaidon Anthony made it 2-2, with United subsequently awarded a penalty late on after Anthony was deemed to have pulled Amad Diallo’s shirt in the box.
