Wrexham chairman Ryan Reynolds delighted punters by buying a round for everyone in a pub on Friday night.

The Hollywood icon and one half of the League One club’s famous ownership team was joined by another star of the silver screen, Channing Tatum, at the Fat Boar pub in Wrexham.

The Deadpool actor was seen addressing the jubilant masses, footage from Wrexham.com shows. The 48-year-old joked that the pub ‘might be bussing in another hundred people’ after he revealed he’d be paying for a round of drinks for everyone in attendance.

Reynolds was keen to stress that he couldn’t stay long though, as he tried to make the most of his ‘night off’ away from his four young children.

He was later seen in a picture posted by the pub alongside Tatum, who also starred in the recent hit movie Deadpool and Wolverine.

The blockbuster film, which has grossed more than $1billion since its July release, also stars Wrexham striker Paul Mullin as Welshpool. Warning: Explicit language.
