Sam Kerr’s fiancée Kristie Mewis has revealed the ‘craziest’ nickname for their son Jagger: Mr Moo Moo.

The USWNT star, 34, gave birth to the couple’s son in May – and Mewis had further reason to celebrate when Kerr recently scored her 100th career goal for Chelsea versus Aston Villa in the Women’s Super League.

It was also Kerr’s first game in 20 months after the striker ruptured her ACL while on a training camp with the Blues in Morocco.

On Tuesday, Mewis took to Instagram where she confirmed her cute nickname for Jagger – before Kerr responded with her own.

The Matildas captain was typically blunt, and joked Jagger should be dubbed ‘Mr.sh*tthrougheverything’.

After chalking her impressive personal milestone in the 3-1 win, Kerr was understandably elated.

‘I’m a goal-scorer, that’s what I love doing,’ she said. ‘Those 100 goals represent a lot of hard work, dedication and sacrifices.

‘For me, it’s an amazing achievement and something I’ll look back on for the rest of my life.’

Kerr also achieved the feat in just 128 games for Chelsea.

Manager Sonia Bompastor described Kerr’s return to the pitch after 634 days as ‘perfect’.

‘Personally, I’m really pleased, it was a perfect day,’ she said.

‘You know what Sam represents for Chelsea. For me, she’s an idol. We all know how tough it was for her, being away from the game and from the pitch for so long.

‘She doesn’t like being in front of everyone and getting the limelight, but she really deserves it.

‘I think she needs to enjoy it as well because she’s been through tough moments, so when you have positives, you need to celebrate them.’

Kerr’s return to the Matildas is her next box to tick, where she could resume the captaincy under new coach Joe Montemurro.

Fixtures are pencilled in against Wales (October 25) and England (October 28) ahead of next year’s Asian Cup in Australia which kicks off next March.
