Italian DAZN presenter Eleonora Incardona has shrugged off criticism from a colleague over her choice of clothing during the Club World Cup.
Incardona, 34, alongside Giusy Meloni, 26, Diletta Leotta, 33 – who is the wife of former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius – and Maria Luisa Jacobelli, 33, have become recognisable names around the world thanks to their coverage of the tournament in the US.
The group all work for the Italian arm of DAZN’s football coverage but earlier this week they came in for criticism from fellow football presenter Valentina Maceri, 31, who presents Champions League coverage for Swiss broadcaster Blue.
She said the quartet’s outfits, which have generated traction online, demonstrated little professionalism and said they ‘lack style and class’, before Maceri launched a personal attack on Incardona.
However, this didn’t seem to impact the 34-year-old, who wore another bold outfit for Chelsea’s Club World Cup semi-final against Fluminense on Tuesday.
Posting on her Instagram account, Incardona shared a video from the MetLife Stadium with the caption: ‘Pronostico con finale a sorpresa,’ which translates as: ‘Prediction with a surprise ending’.

Ahead of Chelsea vs Fluminense, Incardona wore a short black dress and tried to do kick-ups
Wearing a short black dress, Incardona had a football in her hands and smiled for the camera before she attempted to do some kick-ups.
Unfortunately for Incardona, she didn’t enjoy much success and the ball bounced away and on to the pitch, with the 34-year-old forced to run after the ball to retrieve it.
Incardona has gone viral throughout the Club World Cup for her choice of outfits but did receive a backlash for what she wore as she presented DAZN’s coverage of Bayern Munich vs PSG.
She shared numerous striking poses in a striped cream suit that was complete with a matching bra in a social media post as she wrote: ‘Bye bye Orlando. Heading to New York City’.
But several fans were critical of Incardona and claimed her outfit was inappropriate.
Meanwhile, in the original criticism Incardona faced, it comes after Maceri has recently released a book entitled ‘F*** Female Empowerment: The Great Mistake of Modern Feminism’.

In the book, she states: ‘Personally, I would say that the way female reporters present themselves on the sidelines in Italy is sometimes borderline.’
Then, in a fresh interview, she launched another attack on various female presenters, including the 34-year-old, for their choice of attire.
She told BILD: ‘If you want to speak on an equal level with players and officials, it’s not conducive.
‘Incardona mainly presents the betting odds. And she does it very sexy. Sometimes vulgarly.’
