Aston Villa remain in the frame for West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta.
The Brazilian is open to leaving West Ham for European football after enduring a tough past 12 months following betting allegations and Villa are among a number of clubs interested in the 27-year old, as reported by Daily Mail Sport.
Paqueta, who was wanted by Manchester City in the summer of 2023, could yet be allowed to go if suitable offers come in and allow the club to bolster first.
West Ham are striving to add more players to strengthen Graham Potter’s squad after a poor start to the season with two defeats and eight goals conceded.
The Hammers hope to finalise the £42m signing of Mateus Fernandes from Southampton following his medical on Thursday.
Monaco’s Soungouto Magassa also underwent a medical ahead of his £17.3m move.
