Trent Alexander-Arnold stripped down to his boxers in Calvin Klein's latest advertisement

Trent Alexander-Arnold left little to the imagination as he posed in a cheeky new advert for underwear giants Calvin Klein.

The Real Madrid star even removes his boxers at one stage before taking a dip in a shower – though spectators are fortunately spared the full reveal.

This is not Trent’s first rodeo with Calvin Klein – he has modelled various outfits for them before – but this is his latest foray with a fashion brand who have also snapped up Virgil van Dijk and Leah Williamson in recent years.

It will cost fans a pretty penny to get their hands on Trent’s gear – he models the Intense Power Cotton trunks, which hit the wallet for £45 for a pack of three, and the Microfiber Stretch Boxer Briefs, which cost a quid less.

Alexander-Arnold said: ‘Stepping into Calvin Klein’s iconic underwear and denim for this campaign really got me in a powerful, confident state of mind.

‘Reuniting with the team on this shoot was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by the fact that we got to shoot in Madrid, which means a lot to me. It made the whole experience even more personal and fun.’

His fans, who are typically used to watching the former Liverpool star spraying passes around the pitch, were surprised to see him getting sprayed in the shower.

‘WOWWW I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS!!!!’ one commented on Instagram.

‘When I opened the IG, my father was sitting next to me. Thanks, Trent,’ one joked.

‘Must be chilly,’ another said.

One particularly delusional follower wrote: ‘My beautiful husband.’

Back in 2022, Alexander-Arnold modelled the brand’s underwear ahead of the World Cup and declared: ‘Calvins or nothing.’

With an annual salary estimated to be around £14.47million by databse Capology, the 26-year-old should have enough cash to buy as many pairs as he wants.

But he has endured a mixed start to life with Real Madrid and was dropped for their second LaLiga match against Oviedo after a difficult first outing in Spain against Osasuna.

For Trent, moving to Madrid was all about experiencing a new culture and pushing himself outside his comfort zone – something this new campaign might tick.

On signing, he said: ‘Liverpool made me who I am. More than anything, it was ambition and a personal desire for change. To challenge myself in a new environment. Of course, Real Madrid’s legacy is undeniable.

‘But more than that, what attracted me was ambition and the desire to test myself in a new context. Leaving was one of the hardest decisions of my life. Liverpool is my home; it made me who I am.

‘But Madrid felt like the right step, at the right time. It’s a challenge, but it’s one I welcome. The Bernabeu is sacred. You feel the weight of the shirt, but that’s what pushes you to give it your all.’

Earlier this summer, Lionesses captain Leah Williamson took part in a similar campaign ahead of starring at the Women’s Euros.

The American fashion label snapped up Williamson, 28, one of the most recognisable stars in women’s football, and dressed her in a 90s double denim look, which includes their new Icon Cotton Modal underwear.

Calvin Klein previously drafted in fellow Lionesses star Chloe Kelly to model pieces ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, as she was joined by USA’s Alex Morgan, Australia’s Mary Fowler, France’s Kenza Dali, and Japan’s Mana Iwabuchi.
