Alisha Lehmann is ‘increasingly likely’ to cut short her adventure in Italy and return to the WSL.
Lehmann, 26, who has previously been dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest footballer’, moved from Juventus to Como last August but has fallen out of favour with the Serie A minnows.
According to AS, Lehmann’s time with Como is nearing an end and Leicester City are currently frontrunners to sign the Swiss international.
Having been left out of matches against Napoli, Fiorentina, and Parma she was also axed from the squad at the weekend and the sporting director has reportedly informed her she is not part of Como’s future plans.
Lehmann has not managed to start a single game for the club and made just three substitute appearances since signing.
She had only joined the Bianconeri a year ago from Aston Villa along with her former partner Douglas Luiz before moving on after their high-profile break-up.

She has regularly been known as the Queen of Switzerland due to her social media following
Lehmann has amassed an enormous presence on social media, with over 17million followers on Instagram alone.
After breaking up in 2022, she and Luiz rekindled their romance at the start of 2024, with both players signing a deal to move to Turin.
Luiz has since returned to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, while Lehmann joined Como on the heels of wholesale investment in the women’s team after they were purchased by the Mercury13 group – which counts Juan Mata and Giorgio Chiellini among its investors.
Upon joining, Lehmann said: ‘From the start, I could see this wasn’t just another team; it’s a project with real purpose and vision. [So] signing with FC Como Women just felt right.
‘It sends the message that being strong, ambitious and expressive can all go hand in hand; that’s important for the future of the sport.
‘(It) isn’t just about winning matches. It’s about building something that lasts. This is the first time I’ve joined an independent club. That was a big part of my decision. It shows there is a different way of doing things.’
But those words about building something ‘that lasts’ will ring hollow if she is indeed to move on during the January transfer window.
It has been a bumpy ride for Lehmann off the pitch in Italy and she has been the victim of two burglaries.
Her home with Luiz was targeted by robbers in October 2023, who were said to have snatched 11 watches belonging to Luiz as well as Lehmann’s lavish diamond necklaces.

Lehmann has hardly played for Como and not started a single game since joining the club
And last November, Lehmann suffered a shocking theft yet again, with the 26-year-old sharing a video of a ransacked bedroom.
‘Next time people rob my house, can you please clean up after, cause [sic] I’ve got OCD,’ Lehmann wrote, accompanied by a melting face and crying face emoji.
The shocking footage showed items scattered across the floor with the mattress covered in clothes.
Cupboards and drawers also appear to have been targeted in the raid, with doors left swung open. It is unclear, though, which items were stolen in the theft.
