Stephen A. Smith shreds Trump’s handling of Iran and national chaos

Stephen A. Smith has launched a blistering attack on President Trump, accusing the Commander-in-Chief of '[expletive] up' over the war in Iran and 'regressing to an absolute, unmitigated disaster.' The ESPN host, who has teased his own run for the White House, savaged the Trump administration as the conflict enters its third week, gas prices spiral, travel chaos continues and 'things fall apart by the seams.' 'What the [expletive] is wrong with y'all? This is some straight bull[expletive]! It's gotta stop,' Smith fumed. 'This is not what America is supposed to be about.

Ex-Trump official hints at Israeli involvement in Charlie Kirk’s death

President Donald Trump's former top counterterrorism official who resigned over the war in Iran said his suspicion piqued when the FBI blocked his investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination. Joe Kent, the former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, went on to Tucker Carlson's podcast to explain how he lost confidence in Trump, who he believes was duped into the war by Israel. His resignation comes at a perilous moment for the Trump administration, with the President himself breaking with Israel over strikes on an Iranian gas field that set the Gulf ablaze, sparking retaliatory strikes on America's Arab allies on Wednesday. Kent told the former Fox News host that Kirk's last words to him were: 'Joe, stop us from getting into a war with Iran.'

Hegseth says son asked about families of dead US soldiers in Iran war

Pete Hegseth revealed he was forced to defend the administration's decision to launch the war against Iran by his young son. The Defense Secretary made the stunning revelation during a press briefing at the Pentagon on Thursday while discussing the ongoing conflict. 'My 13-year-old son popped into my office last night while I was editing these remarks. He asked about the war and the families I met at Dover,' Hegseth told reporters. 'I looked at him and said, "They died for you, son. So your generation doesn't have to deal with a nuclear Iran."' Since Donald Trump launched his war against Iran three weeks ago, 13 US service member have been killed with over 200 troops wounded.

Tulsi Gabbard grilled over ‘false’ claims on Iran’s nuclear progress

A defiant Tulsi Gabbard was forced onto the back foot during a high–stakes interrogation on Capitol Hill. The Director of National Intelligence faced a blistering line of questioning from Congressman Jimmy Gomez, a Democrat, who demanded to know if she stood by her controversial claim from last year that Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapon. As the room held its breath, a stone–faced Gabbard snapped back that 'context matters' – refusing to give a simple yes or no. 'Context matters with that statement,' Gabbard said. 'Iran had all of the materials and capabilities to do so.' Gomez asked her, 'Were you lying or not?' 'I stand by the intelligence community's complete assessment,' Gabbard responded.

NASA chief systematically debunks Apollo Moon Landing hoax claims

President Donald Trump ’s NASA chief cannot wait to return to the moon, partially to reemphasize that the United States can do it. ‘We owe it to every one of the pioneers during the 1960s every one of the astronauts that what they did was just the start and not the end of a great journey,’ NASA administrator Jared Isaacman told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview at NASA’s JFK center in Florida. Isaacman has a personal passion for space exploration and aviation as an entrepreneur and pilot. He has been to space on two separate SpaceX missions, including the first all-civilian mission in 2021. He acknowledged that a growing number of Americans believed that the Apollo moon landing was actually an elaborate hoax, but emphasized that he had access to the truth, as the administrator of NASA. ‘I like, literally, have access to all the materials and the boots that were worn on the moon, and seen, you know, the Apollo 11 command module, and spoken to the astronauts, the heroes that actually did it. There's no question,’ he said.

Report: Melania influenced Trump to soften ‘mass deportation’ stance

Donald Trump has pulled back on his aggressive deportation policies - and First Lady Melania could be behind his change of heart. Following conversations with his wife and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the President now believes some of his illegal immigration policies may have gone too far, sources told the Wall Street Journal. Trump wants his team to focus on arresting 'bad guys' and temper down the heated rhetoric surrounding 'mass deportations.' Melania Knauss came to the US in 1996 as an immigrant and working model. She met Trump while in Manhattan in 1998 and they were married in 2005. She became a US citizen in July 2006 through her marriage and sponsored her parents using chain migration policies. Both Melania and the son she shares with Trump, Barron, are dual citizens of the US and Slovenia.

Trump shock response to Japanese PM with Pearl Harbor comment

President Donald Trump gave a shocking response when asked during his Oval Office meeting with the Japanese prime minister on Thursday why he didn't reveal to allies his Iran war plans. 'You don't want to signal too much ... we wanted surprise,' Trump answered. 'Who knows better about surprise than Japan ?' he said. 'Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor!' Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi pursed her lips and crossed her hands as Trump made the comments. The United States entered World War II after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, a US naval base in Hawaii, in December 1941.

Candace Owen’s low-blow at Karoline Leavitt over Iran war

Candace Owens has sparked backlash after launching an attack on Karoline Leavitt over the Iran war by posting an unflattering image of the press secretary. Owens was accused of taking Leavitt out of context when she posted previous comments by the White House spokeswoman stating that Iran did not present a threat to the US homeland. Leavitt had actually been referring specifically to an ABC News story about an Iranian drone threat to California, not a nationwide terror threat more broadly, which the Trump administration has acknowledged is a risk of the conflict. Owens overlaid the text of Leavitt's statement onto an extreme close-up of Leavitt's face from a recent Vanity Fair exposé.

Unclassified threat report reveals ‘most likely’ terror attack scenario in US

The US intelligence community believes that among the biggest threats to US national security are the rise of radicalized US-based lone wolf actors. The 2026 Annual Threat Assessment released by the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's office reveals that terrorism threats from teenage extremists are on the rise. 'The most likely terrorist attack scenario in the Homeland involves U.S.-based lone offenders,' the March 2026 unclassified report notes. It goes on to list the 2025 New Year's Day attack in New Orleans, Louisiana , and the June 2025 attack in Boulder, Colorado , and blames anti-Israel sentiment for the rise in these types of offenses. 'These individuals take inspiration from foreign terrorist ideologies and propaganda that often exploit world events such as the Gaza conflict to fuel radicalization and mobilization,' the report claims.

Trump aide slams Jimmy Kimmel over Melania doc jab

Top Trump White House Aide Stephen Cheung erupted at late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel after his snide remarks about First Lady Melania Trump's documentary. At Sunday night's Academy Awards , Kimmel attacked Melania for her eponymous documentary, which was released by Amazon in January. As he discussed the importance of documentaries, often produced under difficult conditions to expose injustice or tell important stories, Kimmel made a sarcastic contrast. 'There are also documentaries where you walk around the White House trying on shoes,' he said. The remark referenced Melania, a documentary that followed the First Lady as she prepared to return to the White House.

Keith Urban is said to be 'heartbroken' after an apparent snub by his eldest daughter, Sunday Rose. The 17-year-old model failed to mention her rocker father in an interview with Elle Australia for its March edition. In the sit-down, Sunday was quick to praise mother Nicole Kidman, 58, for being one of the biggest creative inspirations in her life. She credited Nicole for being instrumental in sparking her interest in modelling, as the Aussie A-lister used to take her daughter to photo shoots as a young child.

JD Vance honors fallen soldier killed in Iran

JD Vance oversaw the dignified transfer of the seventh US service member to die in the Iran war just hours after Donald Trump admitted his vice president was 'less enthusiastic' about the ongoing conflict. Vance was at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware for Army Sgt Benjamin N Pennington, 26, of Glendale, Kentucky who was killed during an attack on the Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia . Pete Hegseth and Vance saluted alongside high ranking military officials as the transfer case draped with the American flag was carried from the aircraft and into an awaiting vehicle. Earlier Monday, Trump revealed that Vance was 'philosophically a little bit different than me' at the outset of the war in Iran even as he dismissed the notion of a disagreement between the two.

'You know, you never like to say too early 'you won.' We won… In the first hour it was over,' he said at a rally in Kentucky. Leavitt demands ABC retract report on potential Iran drone threat to California

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is demanding the correction of a report warning of a potentially imminent Iranian attack on California . ABC News reported on Wednesday that Iran wanted to use drones to attack California if it were ever hit by US military strikes. The bulletin went out in an FBI alert last month to its Joint Terrorism Task Force members. 'Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United State homeland, specifically against unspecified targets in California, in the event that the US conducted strikes against Iran,' an FBI alert obtained by ABC News said. The report prompted a rush of concerning headlines about California facing a wartime threat, but neither the White House nor the FBI responded at the time.

Trump addresses reports of potential Iranian sleeper cells in US

Donald Trump has addressed reports of potential Iranian sleeper cells in the United States and a possible drone attack revenge plot that would target California. Fears of possible cells came after encrypted communications, believed to have come from inside Iran and intercepted by the US, were sent as an 'operational trigger' for 'sleeper assets' on Monday. Those worries were further stoked Wednesday, as the FBI alerted California law enforcement to potential Iranian drone strikes on the West Coast in retaliation for the US war against Iran. The president, speaking to reporters upon arrival at Joint Base Andrews following a rally-style event in Kentucky, said that federal law enforcement was probing the drone threat. 'It's being investigated. You have a lot of things happening and all we can do is take them as they come,' he said.

Trump deploys tactic to gauge who’s more popular to be his successor

President Donald Trump is deploying an unusual tactic to gauge who is more popular ahead of the race to be his successor in 2028 - Vice President JD Vance or Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Trump asked a room of donors at his Mar-a-Lago estate for their thoughts on his top two lieutenants one day after he launched a war on Iran. It was not the first time Trump had quizzed his inner circle like this before. 'What do you think of JD Vance and Marco Rubio?' the President asked during a speech, sources in the room told the Wall Street Journal.

Fury over GOP senator’s latest Iran remarks

South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has sparked immense backlash with his latest comments about escalating tensions over the US war with Iran. During an appearance on Fox News' show Hannity, Graham claimed that when he goes 'back to South Carolina, I'm asking them to send their sons and daughters over to the Middle East.' That line has created mayhem, as President Trump's bombing of Iran last month is highly unpopular with the American public, with both Democrats and Republicans alike. Eight American service members have already been killed in the conflict. The latest numbers also reveal that at least 140 troops have been injured.
