The husband arrived in Singapore after apparently leaving his job in Brunei.

More details have emerged about the 41-year-old Indonesian man and the 38-year-old Indonesian woman whom he allegedly murdered at hotel Capri by Fraser at China Square on Oct. 24.
The two have reportedly been married for nine years with no signs of trouble in their marriage.
The wife, Nurdia Rahmah Rery, apparently travelled to Singapore to meet up with her husband, Salehuddin, without their children.
Salehuddin allegedly murdered Nurdia at the seventh floor of the hotel before turning himself in.
No signs of marriage woes
The woman, Nurdia Rahmah Rery, worked as a pharmacist in Batam for Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Nurdia’s brother, Ishan (transliteration), told Shin Min Daily News.
Nurdia was the family’s eldest daughter and had a good relationship with her family, Ishan recalled.
According to him, Nurdia and the 41-year-old Salehuddin were married close to a decade.
There were no signs of marital trouble.
However, he pointed out that Nurdia tended to hide her feelings and put up a strong front when she is with her family.
Couple met in Singapore without their kids
Ishan revealed that his brother-in-law, Salehuddin, had allegedly worked in Brunei, but resigned from his position.
On Salehuddin’s Facebook profile, his place of residence was listed as Batam, Indonesia, Shin Min wrote.
His occupation was listed as a scaffolder with Serikandi Group of Companies, a Brunei company.
After his resignation, he arrived in Singapore, Ishan added.
Nurdia was in Singapore to meet up with him.
Their children did not travel with them.
Kids aged 5 and 8
Ishan shared that the couple’s children are five and eight and years old.
The two children went to school in Batam, but have since been brought to Pekanbaru, Indonesia, to be with Nurdia’s family.
“They’re currently living with my parents and I. We will take care of them and have them go to school in Pekanbaru,” Ishan added.
Grief and condolences
On Oct. 25, a day after the murder took place, Nurdia’s relative made a post on Facebook grieving her death, Shin Min reported.
They wrote that Nurdia had graduated from Universitas Andalas.
She is remembered as a loving daughter, sister and mother.
The relative also reminisced about their memory of Nurdia during her schooling years, adding that the news of her death was shocking and sad.
Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control offered their condolences in a Facebook post on Oct. 24.
Nurdia’s relative mourned the passing of the deceased in a Facebook story.
She gave the assurance that they will care for Nurdia’s two children.

Why didn’t we hug tighter?
Be at peace my friend, don’t worry.
We will fight for Bintang and Hanan, we want them to be part of our family.
