Koo Jun Yup, the husband of the late Barbie Hsu, has reportedly been frequently visiting his late wife’s grave at Chin Pao San Cemetery in Taiwan.
According to Taiwanese outlet Next Apple, a fan encountered the South Korean artiste, also known as DJ Koo, at the cemetery on Jan. 3.
When the fan spoke to him in Korean and identified themselves as a fan of Barbie Hsu, Koo reportedly did not respond verbally, but quietly gestured towards the tombstone before beginning to clean it.
Witnesses said Koo had brought his own cleaning supplies and carefully scrubbed both the front and back of the tombstone.

Hsu passed away in February 2025 at the age of 48, due to complications from influenza and pneumonia while on a family trip to Japan.
Since her death, Koo has reportedly halted all public activities.
Local media have also reported that Koo has lost about 12kg following her passing.
Hsu’s younger sister, Dee Hsu, shared that Koo visits the cemetery daily to share meals with his late wife and spends his time at home painting her portraits.
Some witnesses further claimed that he was seen watching “Meteor Garden”, the Taiwanese drama that marked Hsu’s first breakthrough role, on a tablet while staying by her grave.
Fans who have observed his visits over the past months described him as “quiet” and “devoted”, with many expressing their sympathy and support.
Hsu’s family had initially planned for a tree burial for the actress.
However, this was later changed after Koo expressed his wish for a burial site that he could visit at any time, according to Korean JoongAng Daily.
DJ Koo and Hsu’s love story first captured public attention in the late 1990s, when the two briefly dated.
They later went their separate ways, during which Hsu married and subsequently divorced Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, with whom she had two children.
DJ Koo and Hsu eventually rekindled their relationship and got married in 2022.
