Kimmarie Johnson, known for her appearance on Beverly Hills, 90210, has died at the age of 50.
Her niece, Rhonda Scott, told TMZ that Johnson experienced a “heart event” at her Los Angeles home on October 27.
She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with what was described as a “heart aneurysm condition.”
Johnson died peacefully on Wednesday afternoon after her heart stopped.
She made her television debut in 1998, appearing as Judy in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210.
Two years later, she appeared alongside Ashton Kutcher in the comedy Dude, Where’s My Car?, playing Jumpsuit Chick.

A heart aneurysm, often referring to a thoracic aortic aneurysm or ventricular aneurysm, is a weakened, balloon-like area in the wall of the heart muscle or the aorta, the major artery that carries blood away from the heart, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Pressure from the blood can cause the weakened section to stretch and become thinner, raising the risk of a tear, known as a dissection, or a complete rupture.
Johnson is survived by her 23-year-old son, Cameron, a music artist.
She and Scott shared a particularly close relationship, with Johnson taking on a parental role when her niece was just 16.

Scott is the daughter of Johnson’s oldest brother, Edward, and Tina Baldwin, who struggled with drug addiction.
Johnson’s mother, Carol, helped raise Scott alongside her daughter. In a 2014 interview with The Bakersfield Californian, Johnson recalled: “It was very difficult for me at first because I didn’t want to have a child.
“But I had to step up to the plate and be her mom, and that was difficult because I was still in school. It didn’t matter, because I really loved her. That was the way it was going to be. That’s life.”

Scott said: “I’m so happy I have her in my life. I don’t know where I would be without her. I know I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today.”
Johnson said: “We have a beautiful relationship. It’s funny how that works out.
“Sometimes there’s some bad along the way, but in the end, it’s the most wonderful thing if you fight for it.”
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Johnson studied elementary education and child psychology at California University of Pennsylvania.
She later moved to New York City, where she worked as a flight attendant before being discovered by a modeling agency. Her campaigns included work for Oscar de la Renta and United Colors of Benetton.
In 1992, Johnson won the Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant and went on to compete in Miss USA.
She relocated to Los Angeles in 1996 and began pursuing acting.
After the birth of her son in 2003, Johnson largely stepped away from the screen. Her final credited appearance came in a 2017 episode of the television series Tucker’s War.
Johnson launched her own beauty company, SkinGlow by Kimmarie, in 2011.
