MailOnline understands that Maura Higgins and Danny Jones spent several hours appearing close at the BRITs afterparty before sharing a surprise kiss at the event.
The former Love Island star, 34, was filmed exchanging what appeared to be a drunken kiss on the lips with 38-year-old McFly singer Danny on Saturday, in footage obtained by The Sun.
Maura and Danny, who has been married to Georgia for more than a decade and shares seven-year-old son Cooper with her, were both guests at Universal Music’s star-studded party at 180 Strand.
I was also among those invited to the A-list celebration. Shortly after arriving and collecting a drink from the bar, I saw Maura’s former partner Pete Wicks leaving quickly with his friend Olivia Attwood.
Pete appeared in high spirits as he stopped for a photograph and a brief conversation, explaining that he planned an early night because he and Olivia were due to host their first KISS Radio show the following morning.
Inside, the celebrity crowd filled the VIP dance floor, with Lucien Laviscount, Sam Ryder, Frank Lampard and Jedward among those enjoying the party.
In the early hours, I took a break from dancing and sat at the end of a booth. Maura was beginning her evening there, sipping champagne alongside Danny and another woman.

Maura and Danny remained together in the booth for much of the night, laughing and talking, before her I’m A Celebrity co-star Oti Mabuse joined them for a catch-up and photograph.
The trio appeared relaxed as Maura leaned her head against Danny’s shoulder while a friend captured the moment on camera.
Oti later moved around the room, leaving Maura and Danny together as they continued their close conversation and whispered to one another.
Danny briefly walked around the venue with McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher, but soon returned to Maura’s side.
By around 2.30am, more friends and guests had gathered near the booth, yet the pair appeared entirely at ease in each other’s company.
Footage reportedly recorded shortly before 3am showed them standing close together in the venue foyer. After leaning in to talk, Danny appeared to give Maura a quick kiss.
The pair later left the venue as part of a larger group that included Danny’s bandmate Tom.
Maura subsequently travelled home alone in a taxi.

Maura and Danny’s I’m A Celebrity co-star sat at a different table from them during the ceremony, which took place earlier in the evening at the O2 Arena.
At the BRIT Awards, Maura sat with Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo. Pete was only one table away, but the former couple did not appear to approach each other.
Danny, meanwhile, was seated several tables away with fellow McFly star Tom.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Maura and Danny for comment.
Last month, Georgia revealed that she had gone on a solo countryside cabin retreat without Danny to recover from burnout.
Georgia, 38, had been managing things at home while the McFly musician travelled to Australia in November to take part in I’m A Celebrity at the end of last year, where he was crowned King of the Jungle.
In a candid social media post, she said that solo parenting and moving house while continuing to work had left her feeling exhausted.
‘More than a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own and working hard on my career while Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!’ she wrote.

As the New Year began, Georgia said she needed to ‘do something for me’ and booked a woodland break with cabin company Unyoked.
She travelled to snowy Shropshire, where she stayed in a cabin, chopped wood, built a fire, read and spent time surrounded by nature.
The retreat came after Georgia became emotional in an Instagram video posted in November while Danny was in Australia.

Georgia, who looked after their son Cooper while Danny competed on I’m A Celebrity, admitted that she had found his absence stressful.
Meanwhile, Maura appeared to be keeping her distance from ex-boyfriend Pete, who was also at both the BRIT Awards and the afterparty on Saturday night.
MailOnline reported that the relationship between the I’m A Celebrity and Strictly stars had ended on Valentine’s Day. Maura later appeared to suggest Pete was ‘probably cheating’ when asked about his whereabouts as she celebrated being single at London venue Sheesh.
Pete addressed the remark light-heartedly while speaking to MailOnline on the red carpet alongside Olivia.
Discussing his best friend Sam Thompson, Pete told MailOnline: ‘It’s difficult for Sam tonight because I’ve got a new work wife. But he’s not far away — he’s actually over there.’
He continued: ‘It feels a little strange because I feel like I’m…’
‘Cheating?’ Olivia interjected, prompting them both to laugh, before adding: ‘Not the first time, I might add.’
‘Because I have never done that,’ Pete replied.
Friends of Pete previously told MailOnline that he had not been unfaithful to Maura during their relationship and had been hurt by her comments about cheating.

Maura made a dramatic entrance on the red carpet in a sheer floral gown that showcased her figure and featured black piping to emphasise her curves.
She wore the fitted dress without a bra, using strategically placed embroidered flowers to maintain her modesty.
As she posed for photographers, the television star also revealed a glimpse of the lacy black thong worn beneath the gown.
A pair of black high heels added extra height, while she kept her jewellery understated so the striking dress remained the focus.
MailOnline reported on tensions between Olivia and Maura last year.
The dispute followed comments from Olivia accusing 2019 Islander Maura of following the ‘same script’, including citing ‘revenge on an ex’ as one of her reasons for appearing on the ITV2 dating show.
Olivia made the remarks while Maura was appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, two years after Olivia was forced to leave the Australian jungle for medical reasons.
In January, Olivia told MailOnline: ‘Without sounding arrogant, I don’t feel like I’m in competition with anyone.
‘I am relentlessly insane. Nobody can outwork me. They can try, but they won’t succeed.’
The 2025 BRIT Awards ceremony was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, who returned to the role for a fifth time after presenting the event in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
