Aldi has announced it’s bringing back one of the surprise sell-out hits of 2025 – delighting both children and adults alike.
The $19.99 mini shopping trolley shot to popularity when it was first released, thanks to its cute features and practical use for play.
Adults into the ever-popular ‘mini’ collecting were also overjoyed by the 58cm-high buy and snapped one up for themselves to store their favourite tiny groceries in.
The best-seller, which comes complete with a trolley coin lock, will launch into the middle aisles across Australia on Wednesday, June 17.
The iconic Special Buy is expected to sell out fast and will drop alongside several other ‘must-have’ children’s items including tabletop hockey, Squishmallows, Hot Wheels playsets and mini F1 race cars.
Videos of the little trolley took off during the release in 2025, with many racking up more than 600,000 views and hundreds of comments from eager shoppers.
‘My toddler is going to lose his mind when he sees this,’ mum Dana Megan said at the time.
‘Stop Aldi you’ve outdone yourself on this. It’s so bloody cute,’ another, Emma Diedrichs, raved.

Some adults admitted the purchase was more for themselves than their little ones, while others urged parents to keep the trolleys at home and out of supermarkets.
‘Please don’t have your kids “shopping” with you using these,’ one begged. ‘It’s a toy’
