Beloved influencer Kiersten Dyke dies aged 25 as boyfriend pens heartbreaking tribute

Popular influencer Kiersten Dyke has died aged 25.

The TikTok creator had been documenting her skin cancer journey for her thousands of followers on social media.

Her death was announced on the GoFundMe page originally launched to help cover medical fees and other costs related to her melanoma.

It read: ‘With heavy hearts, we share the news that Kiersten passed away Sunday morning surrounded by her loved ones. Kiersten was a strong and empowered woman and an inspiration to so many people.

‘She was thoughtful and kind with a gentle soul who loved life. Forever in our hearts. We will share details about a celebration of life at a later time.

‘We continue to ask for thoughts and prayers as we navigate thru this difficult time.’

Her boyfriend of nearly nine years, Dominic Cinfio, also took to social media to share a heartbreaking tribute.

He wrote: ‘There are no words to truly describe how special of a human Kiersten was. She was such a joy and brought light into every room she walked into. She cherished every person who knew her and cared so deeply for others. She inspired me everyday and made me a better person and for that I am eternally grateful.

‘I am so fortunate to have shared 8 1/2 years together as her boyfriend. She loved so hard not just me but every person in her life whether you met her once or knew her your entire life. That’s what made her so special.

‘Even through the countless treatments, she was always trying reach out and be there for others. She was a fighter and even when things were hardest didn’t waver in being there for the people she loved.

‘It comforts me knowing she is no longer in pain and is finally at rest. I will miss her so much and will always carry her with me. I hope I can live even remotely closely to how she did and share her love and strength with others.

‘I love you so much boo boo,’ he concluded.

Dyke, who boasted over 10,000 followers on TikTok, had drafted a video just two days before her hospital admission, which was later posted by her boyfriend.

The video showed her on a trip to Austin, Texas.

‘Kiersten was able to finish this draft on April 18th a few days before she was admitted into the hospital. She had the absolute best time visiting Austin and getting to see so many people she loved,’ he captioned the post.
