BRIT Awards 2026 recap: Olivia Dean dominates with FOUR awards as the world of music pays tribute to Ozzy Osbourne

Bringing the night to an end, Robbie belted out a rendition of Ozzy’s iconic hit No More Tears.

Taking to the stage, Sharon told the crowd: ‘My old man was blessed with a one and a million career. He was at the top of his game for 56 years. I could go on for achieves but Ozzy was authentic he was gifted a wild man unpredicted.

‘Came from a small working class neighbours in Birmingham and because this musician he had low times but never stopped and pushed himself to do better both personally and professionally. He never felt words were enough for the life he was given and led.

‘He was the most humble maniac you could ever meet and at the end of the day he will always be a rockstar and Ozzy’s heart never left English and was proud to be that working class Brummy.

‘This goes to his incredible family and great musicians that helped Ozzy along the way. I want to thank his crew that never let him down. We had one of the best crews on the road. Thousands of people who lines the streets to say goodbye, his fans he loved them and the loyalty they gave him.

‘If Ozzy was here tonight he would be showing us that gorgeous smile he had. He may not be here but he left us one amazing body of work that will never be forget by the country who made him.’

The star won the coveted Album Of The Year gong for The Art Of Loving.

She said: ‘Making this album has changed my life… This album is about love and loving each other in a world that feels loveless right now.’

Ahead of a lengthy tribute to Ozzy Osbourne later in the evening, The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess took to the stage to honour all the music stars who have passed in the last 12 months.

Tim said Mani had an ‘unforgettable smile and uncontainable enthusiasm’, before asking the audience to ‘think about Mani for a moment… and we can cherish the though that we got to experience our time and his time together.’

Olivia paid tribute to her mother during her acceptance speech, saying: ‘It takes a lot of people to be a good artist and it’s not lost on me that I have good people around me, so thank you, I love you.’

And the award goes to Olivia Dean!

It’s the third award for the singer tonight so far.
