Britain’s Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy was rushed to hospital after he split his head open following a horror fall.
The stand-up comedian – who won the ITV variety show in 2018 – was taken to A&E over the weekend, and told his Instagram followers on Monday he felt ‘silly and useless’ due to having had a nasty tumble.
The 44-year-old star – real name Lee Ridley – also shared a photo of himself in hospital with a huge bandage wrapped around his head on the social media platform, and apologised to his supporters for cancelling two shows due to his injury.
Lost Voice Guy – who has cerebral palsy and uses his iPad to talk and perform – captioned the photo with: ‘Lost Balance Guy strikes again!…

‘I fell and split my head over the weekend and was left feeling silly and useless. But this isn’t a post for sympathy. It’s a post to say it’s OK to feel like that sometimes. If you’re disabled, you already know this part.’
Lee – who suffered a brain infection at six months old, a short time after being diagnosed with cerebral palsy – did not reveal the exact nature of his injuries or how long it will take for him to recover.
However, he vowed to ‘carry on’ and praised the disabled community as a whole.
The comic – who slipped into a two-month coma shortly after the brain infection, which affected his movement and rendered him unable to speak – continued: ‘The disabled community is incredibly resilient.
‘Not because we have to be heroic, but because we keep going. We don’t stay down. We pause, recover, and carry on. However that looks for you.’

Lost Voice Guy went on to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne for ‘putting me back together’, and then expressed how sorry he is to fans for cancelling his shows in the city and Mexborough.
The comedy legend ended the caption with: ‘Huge thanks to the NHS staff at the RVI for putting me back together.
‘And sorry to the people of Newcastle and Mexborough for missing the shows. I’ll make it up to you.’
