The gospel star Trecina ‘Tina’ Campbell is heading toward divorce after her husband filed to end their marriage.
On Monday, the singer’s husband, Glendon ‘Teddy’ Campbell, filed paperwork to divorce her in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
Campbell’s husband listed the reason for his split from the 51-year-old performer as ‘irreconcilable differences.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to Tina and Teddy Campbell for comment.
Campbell is best known for her work in the popular gospel duo Mary Mary.
Like his wife, Teddy is also an accomplished musician and singer. He has performed as a drummer, including a multi-year stint in the 2000s and 2010s with the Tonight Show house band and work on American Idol, and he has more recent sang lead for the Soul Seekers.

The divorce filing indicated that Tina and Teddy had been married for more than 25 years, as he listed their wedding date as August 12, 2000.
TMZ first reported on Tina and Teddy Campbell’s divorce filing.
According to Teddy, he and his estranged wife have been separated for almost two years, as he dated their split back to June 2024.
He also indicated that the estranged couple shares two minor children: 13-year-old Santana and 16-year-old Glendon Theodore II.
In a supporting document, Campbell’s estranged husband didn’t check a box indicating custody arrangements would need to be determined for the children, though he did fill out the rest of their information.
He also requested that the court set up visitation for the children.
As for spousal support, Teddy indicated on his documents that any arrangement with his wife should be determined at a later date.
He also seemed to suggest a relatively harmonious split, as he indicated on his forms that there was no property that would need to be divided by the court between the exes.
