Taylor Swift fans who spent months predicting what the pop star would wear to wed Travis Kelce were pleasantly surprised when Swift herself revealed the design was courtesy of Dior.

Now, Swifties believe Dior’s new designer Jonathan Anderson might have dropped the biggest Easter egg yet, as some muse he subtly referenced the incomparable commission in his runway show.

Within minutes of the designer’s highly anticipated Dior haute couture fashion show, social media lit up with speculation that the show’s final bridal look could be similar to the custom gown Swift wore at Madison Square Garden in New York City as part of her lavish festivities.

Famed New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman fueled the fire after sharing footage of the finale on X (formerly Twitter), featuring the stunning, romantic bridal gown.

Friedman tweeted, ‘Dior wedding dress. No, not THAT one. The one at the end of the new couture show.’

Fans have been waiting patiently for pictures of the ceremony to drop, with theorists surmising it could be on July 6, (as 7 + 6 = 13, which is famously her lucky number). Another likely option is July 7, which is the day three years ago she posted about being ‘independent’ before heading to her Kansas City show, which Kelce attended.

In the lead up to the big day, Swift dropped plenty of Easter eggs herself by stepping out with multiple Anderson-designed Dior bags that were a departure from her usual understated accessories.

Anderson’s dramatic finale showcased an ethereal ivory gown with a sculpted bodice and dramatic sweeping skirt – and now, fans are convinced the moment was, at the very least, Swift inspired.

One person joked, ‘How much do y’all wanna bet this was the Dior bridal couture dress he made for the blonde one?’

They bolstered their argument by writing, ‘It’s exactly her style, it’s all floral, matches the tiny bit of decor that was leaked, it was explicitly stated it wasn’t just bridal, but bridal couture. And it had a HUGE train for her castle motif of fairytale from when she first started.’

‘Oh you definitely got the vision,’ a commenter agreed as another wrote, ‘Omg you might have hit the nail closely.’

Fashionistas adored the elaborately embellished white column gown, with one complimenting, ‘This is pure art. Dior never fails to amaze with their couture details.’

Others, however, think the real clue isn’t the finale gown at all and goes even deeper.

Many fashion fans believe Swift’s custom gown could borrow heavily from Dior’s ‘Cigale’ dress, which Anderson previously said was his ‘favorite dress of all in the history of fashion.’

The ultra-feminine, retro silhouette feels much more like Swift’s style than the romantic, ethereal final look worn by the runway model, especially given her past fashion choices.

Swift’s publicist Tree Paine confirmed Swift exchanged vows with the NFL star in a custom gown created by Christian Dior Haute Couture.

The Cruel Summer singer specifically opted for a custom creation instead of an existing runway design to make sure everything about her celebration was unprecedented.

Dior confirmed the collaboration and revealed that Anderson created the couple’s looks at the house’s famed Paris atelier in close partnership with Swift and Kelce, both 36.

Anderson previously designed two couture bridal gowns for Dior before he crafted Swift’s wedding gown.

The creations were for Chinese model Ming Xi and Brazilian fashion influencer Elisa Zarzur, showcasing his whimsical meets classic sculptural design style.

Now, fans must wait patiently to see what inspired Swift’s Dior gown, which will be sure to influence bridal looks for decades to come.
