James Gunn reveals how big of a time jump there will be in the DCU timeline between Superman and Man of Tomorrow.

After a fan asked the filmmaker and head of DC Studios how long after Superman does Man of Tomorrow take place, Gunn replied, “Basically real time.” When another fan asked for clarification after assuming that answer meant the upcoming HBO series Lanterns takes place before and after Superman, the director responded, “No. Real time like summer 2027.”
