Tamzin Outhwaite has surprised fans after revealing she is related to her friend, Holly Willoughby.
The actress, 55, has been part of Holly’s close-knit friendship group for many years alongside former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, and Loose Women host Christine Lampard.
But in a new interview, Tamzin spoke of how they are related as she is cousins with Holly’s husband, Dan Baldwin, as she gave an insight into their family gatherings.
‘Girlfriends are just the best. Holly’s also family, she’s married to my cousin Dan so we see each other at family dos too,’ Tamzin told Closer Magazine.
‘Boxing Day is always a big day at Holly and Dan’s. We all get together, do secret Santa and Holly cooks. She’s an amazing cook!’
Holly, 45, married Dan in a romantic ceremony in May 2009 and they have three children; Harry, Belle and Chester.

Questions were first asked about whether Holly and Tamzin were related back in 2017 when Holly posted a picture of the pair of them together and calling Tamzin her cousin.
And the actress managed to fool the This Morning presenter when she appeared on The Masked Singer in 2021.
Following the big reveal, a stunned Holly said: ‘My husband’s mum and Tamzin’s mum were sisters, so we’re like cousins-in-law. We’re practically related!’
To which Tamzin, clearly pleased with having shocked Holly, joked: ‘So this is my favourite moment of the whole thing.’
The pair then kept the news a secret and held a big viewing party.
The EastEnders actress is mother to Flo, 18, and Marnie, 12, with her ex-husband Tom Ellis who she split from in 2014.
During a recent podcast, Tamzin told how her ex-boyfriend of six years, Tom Child, is still her ‘best mate’ and he is always in and out of the house.

‘[He] has been around for the whole of like Flo’s transitioning period, for the whole of Marnie becoming a girl that was discovering all sorts of stuff and boys, and so he is still a member of the family. We’ve been not together for over a year.
‘The kids often say to him “When you meet someone, or even if you have, how are you going to explain this situation to your girlfriends?”‘
Tamzin also starred on Holly’s show, Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof.
During the 2022 survival series the actress suffered an under-ice head injury, leaving the presenter in tears as she watched on.
