Former child star Foster Sylvers, who rose to fame in the 70s alongside family group The Sylvers, has died at age 64.
Foster died in hospice after losing a battle with stage four pancreatic cancer, his brother Leon Sylvers III told TMZ.
He was the bassist for the eponymous band, which rose to prominence with hits including Boogie Fever, Fool’s Paradise, and Hot Line.
Sadly, this is not the first loss for the Sylvers siblings – Edmund Sylvers died in 2004 from lung cancer.
And the youngest brother, Christopher Sylvers, died in 1985 at age 18.
In the wake of his death, Foster’s daughter Erin Sylvers shared a photo of her dad on Facebook and captioned, ‘Rest well, Daddy. I love you so much.’
