Vanessa Trump made a rare appearance to celebrate her mom’s 80th birthday amid her own devastating cancer diagnosis.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Vanessa’s daughter, Kai Trump, shared a series of sweet family photos with grandma Bonnie Kay Haydon.
In one particularly sweet snap, Kai posed alongside her mom, as the two held each other’s hands, their heads pressed close together.
Vanessa looked radiant in an all-white ensemble, sporting a long-sleeve cardigan and flouncy white skirt, while Kai wore a light blue, silk halter top and white jean skirt.
In another photo, Vanessa sat alongside Grandma Bonnie, surrounded by her kids, including Kai and two sons, Donald John Trump III, 17, and Tristan, 14.
Vanessa is the ex-wife of Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr. The two share five children together.
The wall around them was decorated with balloons that read, ‘Happy 80th birthday.’
Other snaps showed Kai hugging and smiling alongside her Grandma, as well as some solo shots of her posing on a balcony.

The new photos come as Vanessa announced to the world in May that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The mother of five made the devastating announcement on Instagram in May, while adding that she had undergone a ‘procedure.’
‘I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,’ she said.
Vanessa added that she was grateful to her doctors for performing the procedure.
‘I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me. Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express.’
She also asked for privacy while she focused on recovering.
In another message posted to her Instagram page on June 13, she told followers that she would be entering the second stage of her treatment.
‘Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward,’ she penned.

Vanessa is currently dating golfer Tiger Woods, who has reportedly been an ‘amazing’ support for the mom-of-five throughout her diagnosis.
In June, a source told People that he is focusing on her needs, despite dealing with his own personal issues after an arrest for DUI earlier this year.
‘Vanessa’s needs and issues have taken Tiger’s thoughts outside of his own legal, medical and personal struggles, which has been good for him,’ the source told People.
‘He has given her a lot of love — even while away working on himself. It shows he has character,’ the source added.
The insider also shared that both Vanessa and Tiger were ‘optimistic’ about her treatments.
‘Like anyone diagnosed with this disease, she is anxious but also strong and eager to move beyond,’ the source said.
‘She is loved and receiving a great deal of support … With all of the advanced treatments and excellent healthcare facilities around her, Vanessa will continue to receive top-notch care.’
After she announced her diagnosis, members of the Trump family rallied around Vanessa with care.
Ivanka Trump was the first member of the family to express support on social media.
‘Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,’ she commented on Vanessa’s Instagram post.
Kai also posted an image to her Instagram Stories, of her alongside her mother while wearing her blue cap and gown.
‘The strongest person I know,’ she wrote on the image.
