That won’t be a wrap for Edgecombe’s rookie effort; the young guard will continue playing a key role for the Sixers in the second round.

At this point of the year, Edgecombe is the only top 10 rookie in his class starting on a playoff team. Three out of the top five picks (Ace Bailey, Kon Knueppel, and Cooper Flagg) are not in the playoffs. The second pick, Dylan Harper, is playing off the bench for the San Antonio Spurs.

On Monday, the 76ers will hit the court at Madison Square Garden for the start of Game 1. Edgecombe and his team will tip off at 8 PM ET.
