Woolworths has sent shoppers into a frenzy over a range of $8 kitchenware items that resemble the world-famous British plush toy brand Jellycat.
The supermarket giant has launched a limited edition Kitchen Event range featuring novelty mugs, toast-shaped and egg-shaped plates and breakfast bowls.
What customers are obsessing over are the ‘adorable’ smiling faces on the everyday items, which are similar to the wildly popular whimsical plush toys.
While the UK brand doesn’t sell a kitchenware collection, the $8 items offer an affordable alternative to the luxury soft toys.
Sydney content creator Adrian Widjonarko shared his glowing review on social media after he got his hands on the ‘ultimate Woolies finds’.
‘Everyone needs to hunt for these out-of-this-world adorable kitchenware,’ he said.
‘I love these cute characters that are giving Jellycat vibe. From saucers to bowls but the star of the show for me is the mug. She even comes with coffee bean feet.’
His video has been viewed more than 450,000 times – with many racing into stores to get their hands on the sought-after products.

Some said it has been a mission trying to find them, particularly the coffee mug and toast-shaped plate with butter.
