The Democratic Party issued a foul-mouthed insult to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller after he called Texas Senate candidate James Talarico ‘transgender.’
Talarico, 37, has earned the Democratic nomination for the coveted seat in the US Senate. He will now face off against Trump-backed Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton in a heated general election, following Paxton’s victory Tuesday night over incumbent Senator John Cornyn for the Republican nomination.
The Democratic Party marked Paxton’s win by sharing a picture of Talarico in front of the Texas state flag and saying he is ‘fired up’ and ‘ready to go.’
‘It’s time to take back Texas,’ the post from the Democratic Party read.
But on Wednesday, Miller shared the post to his own page, writing: ‘The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender Senate candidate.’
The Democratic Party, though, was quick to fire back.
‘Shut up you ugly f***,’ an X account run by the Democratic National Committee read.
Talarico’s own campaign also hit out at Miller for his remarks, saying the White House Deputy Chief of Staff was suffering from ‘Talarico Derangement Syndrome’ – a reference to President Trump’s claims that his opponents are suffering from ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome.’

It is unclear why Miller made the remark, as Talarico is not transgender.
But Talarico has become a target for the president’s allies, who condemn him for controversial remarks he made – including that God is non-binary and that there are six sexes.
Trump, himself, even sought to paint Talarico as an unfit candidate in a series of posts to his Truth Social page Wednesday morning, when he compared the Democrat to MAD magazine mascot Alfred E Neuman – whom he previously compared to former Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
‘This Weak on Crime, Open Borders Dumocrat, can never be allowed to represent the Great People of Texas,’ the president wrote in one post about Talarico beside the MAD magazine mascot.
‘His “values” are the exact opposite!!!’
In a second post, Trump took shots at Talarico as he praised Paxton’s victory.
He once again referred to Talarico as Neuman, and said he ‘may be the worst TEXAS candidate I have ever seen.
‘A strong Open Borders advocate, he is WEAK ON CRIME, believes there are six genders, is insulting to Jesus Christ, will never support the Military, was a big Mask Wearer until recently and is a Vegan who dislikes meat, not exactly a good way to be if your [sic] wanting to win an election in Texas.’

But Talarico tried to walk back some of his past controversial statements on Wednesday, saying he ‘missed the mark’ with some of his more provocative remarks, like saying God was nonbinary.
In an interview with CBS News’ Ed O’Keefe, Talarico said he was ‘being intentionally provocative’ with his comment that God is non-binary, ‘but what it means is that God cannot be defined by human categories.’
When he was then asked what he meant when he claimed modern science acknowledges six biological variations based on chromosomes and argued that sex is a spectrum, Talarico replied: ‘I know there are two sexes: men and women. I also know there is a very small percentage of people who have chromosomal abnormalities, and I believe they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.’
The Democrat then went on to argue that Paxton was just trying to ‘distract’ from his own record.
‘There are some statements that I have made that I certainly regret,’ Talarico admitted. ‘There are statements that I have made where I have missed the mark, I will be the first to admit that.
‘But Ken Paxton is intentionally clipping my cringey comments to distract from his career of corruption.’
Paxton has been endorsed by President Trump despite his history of ethical and legal issues
Paxton, the attorney general, has spent a decade dogged by ethical and legal troubles, including a securities fraud indictment, impeachment, and allegations of bribery.
He has backed many of the President’s most audacious projects, including a 2020 Supreme Court case to nullify Joe Biden’s election victory.
He has also been publicly shamed by his estranged wife for infidelity, even as he’s shacked up with his mistress in a tony Dallas suburb.
‘Ken Paxton has a criminal record. I have a legislative record,’ Talarico said in the interview.
‘I have served for four terms in the Texas House of Representatives, where I brought Democrats and independents together to actually make progress for people. I have brought Republican legislators and Democratic legislators together to cut property taxes, to raise teacher pay, to lower the cost of housing and childcare and prescription drugs.
‘I have passed more than 60 bipartisan bills as a legislator,’ he continued. ‘I have also called out the extremes in both parties, on the left and the right.
‘I have called out Ken Paxton for his blatant corruption, but I also called out President Biden for failing to secure our southern border,’ Talarico claimed.
